Faltering is costly

When you are in a responsible position, especially when people listen to what you speak, you need to watch out. For what you speak is going to be judged and all the message is going to be viewed through that lens. Better stay silent than give out wrong or negative cues which will tarnish your reputation. This is where the preparation comes in handy. Principally this is like marketing communication of a brand. You mess up with the communique, your brand value zooms south.
